We had a chance to check in on our longest in-service CFE Combi module lining. This zone of the furnace has a continuous operating temperature of 2350F. The lining has been in service for 18 years!!! It is safe to say, that it has at least 2 more left. There have been limited required repairs to address mechanical abuse and burner block replacement. We also found that the face of the ceiling modules has lost about 2” of thickness over the lifespan.
